TBC Radio = KPEN and KWAVE 102.1 & 104.1

A little bit about us:

Turquoise Broadcasting Company, LLC is a secondary broadcasting company that re-broadcasts the signal of KPEN and KWAVE in Delta Junction. We are bringing 102.1 KPEN “True Country” to Delta Junction, as well as 104.1 KWAVE “Today’s Top Hits!” Our translator is located on Mill Tan Road, and has a listening radius of 15 miles. Reception is going to be good, because we’ll be kicking out the signal at 250 Watts! These two stations will bring variety to the airways that have been anticipated for a long time.

TBC Radio can put your professional radio commercial on the air for a fraction of the cost compared to a large radio station. We specialize in making quality radio commercials for small businesses. Your commercial will be broadcasted with professional quality, without the professional price! In the Rate Card below, you may choose a 30 second commercial to broadcast daily, or a 15 second commercial to broadcast daily.

We translate KWAVE for the Kenai/Soldotna area.
We translate KBAY for the Homer area.
We translate KPEN and KBAY for the Seward area.
We translate KPEN, KBAY, and KWAVE for Kodiak.
We translate KPEN and KWAVE for Delta Junction
We have the Best Rates!

Our company has the best rates available for local businesses. This makes us Cost Effective. Although you are reaching a targeted area and not covering the whole Kenai Peninsula, we are broadcasting your quality commercial on much-listened-to quality broadcasting stations like KPEN, KBAY, and K-Wave.

Are you interested in broadcasting your professional radio commercial over any of these radio signals? Please view these attachments, then contact me and I will personally do my best to meet your advertising needs. Let me know how I can serve you, today!

We look forward to seeing you at the Rally. May God bless you and keep you safe!

Thanks again,

2008 Toy Run

Toy Run for Charity
Toy Run Supports Local Charity Project

Gathering all efforts, the organizers for the 2008 End of Road Rally have been busy putting together the details for the Toy Run. Interested individuals are asked to purchase the toys that they wish to donate for the 2008 Project Christmas for children and make them available for an early delivery. On Saturday, June 21st participants will make the trek into Delta Junction from Sawmill Creek Lodge. A time of departure will be announced at a later date and will also be noted under events on the website: www.endofroadrally.blogspot.com The Delta Volunteer Fire Department Station (DVFD) will be the destination. The entry fee for this event will be 1 new unwrapped toy. The Seventh Day Adventist Church is in charge of the toys for 2008 Project Christmas and the End of Road Rally organizers will present these toys to them the following week. Motorcyclists, classic auto and modern vehicles are welcome to gather at the Sawmill Creek Lodge on Saturday to travel the Alcan and deliver these toys as a group to our local Fire Station. Chief Bear has agreed to make the station available at that time. ATV’s are asked to follow the Alaska Law and not travel on the roadways, however, they are welcome to participate via the trails. The toys that are donated by the participants meet a much appreciated need by the families of children who can't afford toys at Christmas time.

Motorcycle Area Rides

Motorcycle Area Rides -Volunteers who know the area welcome as ride leaders.

Motorcycle Handbook

Alaska Motorcycle Rules

Download it online today.

DMV.org/Alaska-DMV-InfoAlaska

The Thursday Night Area Rides begin June 19th. Ride destinations depend upon the volunteers we get to participate in leading the rides.

Please inspect your bike before taking off. It is especially important to do a pre-ride inspection this time of year. Remember the acronym “T-CLOCK” for your inspection. You should inspect your bike every time before you ride.

T – Tires and Wheels
C – Controls
L – Lights
O – Oil
C – Chassis
K – Kickstand

Now, are you ready for a group ride? Make sure you are mentally and physically prepared before any ride. Always remember the following in a group ride setting.

  • Group riding requires a high level of awareness and concentration.
  • Know your limits and always ride within your abilities.
  • Come prepared: Full tank of gas, empty bladder and appropriate riding gear.
  • Arrive at the starting location early so you can hear the pre-ride instructions
Ride in a staggered formation, 2 seconds to the bike directly ahead of you and 4 seconds to the bike in front of that.
  • Watch a few bikes further up the road and do not become focused on the bike in front of you.
  • Ride at a constant speed to eliminate the “rubber band” effect.
  • Riding side by side is dangerous and illegal.
  • Never come up on the bike in front of you or beside you.
  • If your bike misses a turn, stick together and the leader will get you back on track. The rider on the outside of a turn must give room to the rider on the inside of the turn.

We look forward to seeing you at the Area Rides. Times and destinations will be announced and posted at the Sawmill Creek Lodge. Remember that we NEVER cancel an Area Ride. Four wheel vehicles are perfectly acceptable in poor weather however, ATV’s are not legal on the roadways. See you Thursday night!

Collectible/Classic Auto Area Ride & Local Band Added to Rally

The organizers at the End of Road Rally were contacted by John Sloan (retired teacher and owner of Buffalo Center Drive-In along with his lovely wife and teacher, Linda) to add a Classic - Collectible Auto Ride to the list of festivities. The area ride will take place on Friday June 20th. Beginning at the lodge, the time will be announced at a later date, the parade of old vehicles will make their run through the town of Delta Junction for a showing. Bring your cameras! This just opens your heart and minds to memories.

Local business owner, Mimi Webb, is designing and ordering t-shirts for the rally. Mimi's T-Shirts & Tank Tops featuring a special logo for the End of Road Rally will be on sale during the festivities.

Ellie Schneider, local folk band member from "Simple Folk Uprising" will be playing, with the band, Thursday night from 8 - 10 PM. This will be a family friendly folk music time to be enjoyed by all. She also made available 12 firepits, 1/2 55 gallon drums on legs, for our use at the rally. First come, first served on these.

Also, the END OF ROAD RALLY would like to challenge the businesses in Delta Junction to keep their doors open until midnight to celebrate this wonderful day of sun and daylight.
